I apologize for the following as it is pure RANT: I got home at 9am and took 2 hours to fall asleep. At 12:30 my doorbell rang. I barely managed to rouse myself to yell at the dogs who were barking their heads off. Usually in the daytime it's UPS, so I don't answer it (they drop the boxes and run anyway when they hear the barking). minutes later my doorbell rings again, and this time someone is leaning on it. Dogs are going nuts. I leap out of bed (naked!), grope around for my robe, pull out my ear plugs, and stumble to the front door. Perhaps the house is on fire or someone has been murdered? No, my neighbor's jackass boyfriend is standing there. He says, "We locked ourselves out. But nevermind we're just going to climb over the wall." Nevermind that I don't have a key to their fucking condo!!! They know I work night shift and sleep all day. I wear earplugs to sleep because she practices drums and runs power tools over my head all day, but THIS is truly inconsiderate. I am not sorry I slammed the door on that jerk. If I didn't have to work tonight, I would ring their doorbell at 3 am just for the fun of hearing THEM stumble around. I have to work again tonight, and I still can't get back to sleep!!!! I've only had 2 hours sleep since 6 am yesterday. Maybe I should in sick.
