learned here its kinda like those "lightening storm" balls that were big oh 10 years ago or so.. where you plug it in..- the purple/white spark of lightening dance around and when touch the glass ball it follows your fingers..now extrapolate and make it wayy more intense and painful with actual shocks.. And yes I would assume from the title and the shape of the attachments they can be inserted.. but one would want to do it on a low setting and the controls be in the hands of yourself or someone you truly trust but thats common sense and the basis for ANY relationship, not just a kinky BDSM one. my cat was my best friend for a time (Yes, I know how sad that is). My ex asked me to leave (after threatening kicking me out for various things over the years) and I finally did it. I had to leave my cat with him, as I was homeless and had no familial support or friends. I was lucky enough to have a professor take me in short term, though not my cat. He wanted me back, and threatened to have my cat put down if I didn't come back. I begged his mom to get my cat for me and found a place where for a fee I could have her. Abusive people are often very good at findng soft spots and harm a beloved pet if it means harming their ex partner. It's a very real and valid fear for people, especially when pets become the only source of and calm in a person's life. I'm so glad that the group you work with recognizes the importance of pet friendliness. As for why people post this stuff and then defend it, in my opinion, it's because they're still in it and feel like they are too smart to be 'one of those people' 'it won't happen to me' and 'if I were being, I would know it' etc. Sadly, that is obviously not the case until people have their own personal 'Aha' moment. They simply aren't ready.
