Just wanted to say hi to you all. I'm in on vacation and I saw CookinButch's doppelganger last night! She done with finals wanting fun went into a Thai restaurant and I insisted that we follow her. The food was excellent! (sorry no -) Pad Thai with broccoli, salted radish, egg and tofu. and a lovely mixed veggie dish with some kind so smoky sauce and black mushrooms. Yumm!! As it turns out, the woman we followed worked there so we had the added bonus of friendly, asian butch as our waitstaffperson. Restaurants close early on here, so we were searching for veggie options and getting a bit desperate. is really nice lilacs in bloom all around the neighborhood. Tomorrow we're going to Butchart Gardens to check out more flowers. Anyway take care all.

What really bothers me as a is this set of double standards society has. For example.. try's so hard not to ffend gays they never show a who can be violent, homicidal etc.. Its always gays shown as fashion designers, sweet wives want sex wimpy house mates or that shoulder for some fat girl to cry on. Yea I want equal rights, Yea I want the right to not have to worry about being fired from a job, denied housing or the right to join the army, a loved one etc However in order for gays to be % and I mean one hundred fricken percent treated the same as str8s or anyone, we have to be willing to accept that fact that not every one of us is some sucessfull fashion designer, not every one of us has a lisp or votes for. We have to accept that JUST LIKE every one, we all have varying points of views that do not make us ANY MORE OR LESS Seriously I'm really sick of this crap. This baseball team descriminated and if the boy scouts do it , it does not make it any less discriminatory. Yea I know I said an ear full and yea I know I just pissed some of you off but take a step back and look at the bigger picture. The ONLY difference between us and str8s is we're. We are human and subject to all its flaws and sucesses. and if you this post because you disagree than you are nothing but a flaming straight :P
