He has met a wonderful who was/is willing to do anything for him but he keeps pushing her woman want friendship away at every turn and tries to make her feel like its her fault! Wow, sounds like a really good guy to me. Meets a wonderful woman and tries to make his faults her's? Hmmm, yet your version of him is that's he's a great catch. how it works? You have some of the same tendencies to accept poor behavior from people you are attached to, even at a friendship level yet can't understand how it works with others? He's like everyone he has his good points and obviously some shitty ones, unhealthy ones. You want to mind your own business? Next time he asks for advice, admit to yourself he doesn't want it you're wasting your breath and oxygen that could be used productively. Just tell him he knows better, won't change until he decides he's had enough and change the subject. If he wants to spout on about this bullshit drama he creates then tell him to do it somewhere.
