My now ex husband went to this floral shop in a strip plaza, way over priced , picking up flowers for my bday. He paid about $60 for a vase of white daisies. No color , nothing special and some New-home-TX adult personals of them looked just sick. When I found out I went back in ranting on what a rip off it was and I wanted it credited to our card. I got the credit back on my card and we both went over to the grocery store across the street( Safeway ) and he picked put $60 of the most gorgeous flowers for me. All fresh cut and colorful. I was on cloud nine. Started talking to the girl who runs the dept and asked her how a floral place could have such shitty flowers but I can come to the grocery store and be in heaven. She then mentions to me how they come over at least 4 times a day to pick things up as they run out and them up about % so essentially the grocery store flowers are sitting in the over prices flower shop. I am still waiting for them to go out of business. I say them and explain your disappointment. They were not cheap. Hi All, looking for some advice here.
