Mostly because I have family in that area. My grandpa's the mayor of a lovely little village by the name of Maupin. I think there's all of people there. But I'll be going to school in Salem. As far as the music scene goes, what kind of local shows go on there? Is it usually just at bars and clubs or are there any good out in the open venues? Is there a wide variety of local bands that put shows together? And, in the off that someone actually does, is there anyone who possibly knows anyone who's been looking for a drummer/guitarist/bassist?
