But in reference to what Binatural said and Bicyclyhips responded with ( I don't agree with her because I don't think the stereotype is true of all men or all women) I think there is a certain type of behavior on the internet aided by anonymity that destroys discussion. -They both mentioned biforum. Biforum used to be really nice. Totally different than w4w (more porn, more sex, more flirtation, more toilet humor) but still interesting with losts of intellectual discussion. Then there were was an influx of two types of people who don't even identify as bi that destroyed things for the rest: Swingers: It's a community that only tolerates recreational female bisexuality and is homophobic towards bisexual men. Hotwife: They have their own forum but for some reason decided to start using biforum. They don't identify as bi but I guess you could say that hotwife is a repressed, twisted form of bisexuality where men encourage their female partners to engage in unsafe sex with others. Kind of bisexual by proxy? So the influx of, cruising and exhibitionism from men in both of these groups in the end trashed biforum. You can look at it now. It's mostly cruising posts. -Queer Forum is supposed to be for everyone. However there are a handful of guys who engage in a lot of insulting and misogynistic behavior ( ie. ing other men "she"). So I don't really agree with Bicyclehips that you can extrapolate truths about women and men from internet communities. But I do think there are some behaviors aided by the anonymity of the internet (- cruising, misogyny etc.) that ruin things for everyone. Why would Binatural ( a bi guy?) like lurking here? It seems like there should be better discussion for him in bi or queer forums but as I mentioned both of those forums are trashed at this point. Not sure what I think about the women who post in here looking for threesomes. I'm not sure if they would behave this way if they weren't part of a male-female couple. It seems like the single, bicurious women posting on their own in here are at least more sociable and less quick to make angry, homophobic comments.
