even though it's F'ING hot there right now. and can be muggy since it's monsoon. beware the monsoon (and local seeking fucking any flash flooding if you're outdoorsin it.) i never ran into any climing gyms while i lived there, but a quick search should prove one way or another. just a thought, you might find some guys who want to mtn bike, and could probably rent one ? monsoons dude. i think they are going to inhibit the outdoor activity. they are 'predictable' though, so if you can find guys adventurous enough, you can still get out there. basiy, 10 minutes prior to torrential down pour, the wind kicks up REAL hard and you can dark clouds on the horizon. 10 minutes they DUMP for 5-10 minutes usually, then move on and dry up. not likely to have more than one rain storm in a day, but it happens. if I still lived there, i'd go brave the rain with ya. =) if you visit seattle, i've got a harness and know of a good gym and a few outdoor climbs.
