I'm working in a small company where unfortunately the HR department is less than, well, professional. People are constantly talking about salaries, education levels, and how old someone is, which is uncool, but this nosy culture they have going on there is definitely not changing any time. Unfortunately for me, they all know my age, which sadly, is the age when everyone's alarm rings the last time. I must have set mine to snooze a while back as it no longer rings for me . Anyway there is one particular socially inept female, 30something, never married, no boyfriend, who is obsessed with others having babies. When someone does get pregnant at work she is eager to say she and her spidey -sense ed it. The thing that is now bothering me is that said socially inept girl stares at my gut, daily, which is a problem after I've ate a bagel or whatever and could perhaps look, at some angles, like I've just sprouted a bump. I feel like a celebrity but obviously am far from it. I feel like I'm about to be on the cover of a magazine with the title "is she or isn't she?" I feel like this is an intrusion into my life and my privacy as well as my poor husband's life even though he is not there to suffer why should our desires or no be a topic for discussion for complete strangers in the workplace? When I first started I almost felt an eating disorder looming for me because the staring was getting to me. But now it's started up again and I'm about to lose it. Should I say something or keep ignoring the below the belt staring even though it's blatantly obvious? Apologize for the off topic-ness.

Try for the interview despite what you've been told. Assuming the department you'd like to join is supervised by a proactive individual, they'll understand why you want to move on bitch want for sex and won't judge you with such negativity.
