To give someone constructive feedback depends on what position you're in. Do you supervise them or vice versa? Is the purpose of your comment to offer insight and enhance the prof'l relationship? Or it extend the gap that is between you? I'm seasoned and not old. I'm compared to my peers in that I've never married nor had. So, my freedom is something I. It permits me to learn as much as I can and keep my skills uber fresh. Sad part is, I'm still out of work. We all have to show a Return on Investment in the workplace. And we all have to show respect for the multiple generations that are with us., tolerance, and kindness can go a way. If the person (regardless of what age) is showing signs of being the weakest link, of costing more than returning more .then the manager/supervisor needs to perform some progressive discipline actions. If it's your peer, do what you think is best. Offer to help or live and let live and let them alone. I'm glad to hear you are working. I someday to do so myself.
